I'm definitely on the geeky side -- gaming (video/board/tabletop), reading (fantasy/sci-fi mostly), and similar tastes in shows & movies. I also practice Historical European Martial Arts (historical swordfighting), which I started doing about a year and a half ago and absolutely love. I'd consider myself an introvert and a bit shy, but with that being said when I'm with people I'm comfortable around that all changes. The kink stuff is all pretty new to me. Up until recently it was something that I knew existed and had been a bit curious about, but things never went beyond that. It felt like there was something missing in my relationships, but I never really knew what it was. That all changed recently when a couple of friends recommended I try reading Sunstone, and that was that -- my interest was well and truly awakened, and I know what was missing. Since then I've been doing some reading to figure out what aspects interest me the most, and while I haven't tried much first hand yet I'm looking forward to having fun exploring and learning, and finding out along the way what's a good fit for me.
