I have been bdsm-aware pretty much as long as I can remember. My experience to date has been limited to personal relationships; I've never been part of a bdsm scene, or any scene, really. The checklist method of categorizing yourself, while pleasingly approachable, is lacking in finesse, so I will try to explain myself, although one thing you should know about me is that I hate explaining myself. I'm a musician, a geek, an amateur intellectual, an amateur viking, a changeling, an absent-minded professor. I am also a respectable middle-class guy, although I'm not entirely sure how that happened. I'm pretty down-to-earth for someone who uses the word 'paradigm' in an online profile. I can be very passionate but usually try not to. I like expensive cheese and other small indulgences.

I'm looking for play, and I'm perfectly open towards something steady, but I'm not especially looking to leap into anything serious anytime soon (which doesn't mean never - it just means not anytime soon).
