I've been in this lifestyle for awhile now. It was quite a journey to get here as I'm sure it was for everyone. I was told recently by a rather experienced dom that I'm the best trained sub he's ever had, yet ironically I've never really been trained. It's instinct I suppose. I've seen "subs" in this community that aren't natural subs, they have to be trained, its never been that way for me. I'm also tired to settling for less then what I want/need.
